TOLLAND, CT – Over the weekend, a car smashed into approximately 10 feet of guardrail during an accident on a wet highway in Tolland, according to state police.
Based on a collision report, at 7:12 PM on Saturday, a 2024 Nissan Rogue was moving westward on Interstate 84 within the rightmost lane, shortly before reaching the Mountain Spring Road overpass. A 33-year-old motorist hailing from Massachusetts was reportedly exceeding the speed limit appropriate for prevailing road conditions when the vehicle started to lose control and skidded, as stated in the accident documentation.
According to a collision report, the Nissan lost control and its frontend crashed into the guardrail.
According to a collision report, both the driver and an 8-year-old occupant emerged unharmed.
