Posted on

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – With summer nearing, construction teams keep busy working on U.S. Highway 385 this season.

The multi-year project will see large sections of the major north-south road running through the Black Hills receiving new surfaces.

At present, three trial segments for cars have been established from South Dakota Highway 44 down to Sheridan Lake Road along route 385. A portion of this stretch of road will remain closed south of Sheridan Lake Road until around mid-June.
